Addy's Blessing Day

On Sunday (November 15th) we were able to bless Ms. AddyLynn. It was such a great day. Our closest family and friends were all there. After the blessing we had the family over for dinner. I thought I would be stressed with all of the people, but it was really great. We were able to visit with everyone we love.
Derek was able to give her the blessing. He was so wonderful with her. He spoke beautifully and asked for wonderful things for Addy from our Heavenly Father. I am so happy to have such a wonderful husband who loves our child and myself so much. I love you babe and thanks for being so awesome. Also, my mom made her dress. It was beautiful. I am so lucky to have such a great mom. I love you and thanks for everything.

So a couple of weeks ago (Oct 23rd to be exact), Miss Addy got her ears pierced. I know she is small but I figured she wouldn't mess with them as much. It was kind of on a whim. While we were making carameled apples I decided to call MarLynn at Mt West Jewelers. She wasn't too happy, but because she loves me, she agreed to pierce them. My mom and Erin went with me. My mom held her head and Erin took pictures. I just wanted to be right there to get her after she was done. The picture that Erin took right after they were done is probably the saddest thing ever. That was the first time she had real tears, which in turn made me teary. They do look really cute though. I love my little baby so much and she looks so darling!!

Halloween

Halloween was way funner this year with Addy! We carved pumpkins on Thursday at my parents house. Derek has had to work alot lately so the picture is just Addy and me. On Saturday we went "trick-or-treating". We just went to visit the family. All of my little neices and nephews were so cute! Addy's costume, however, was a pain in the tail! We had to keep taking it off and puting it back on to get in and out of the car seat. Anyway, here are a few pictures of our day!

Blessed

I just wanted to post to say how blessed I feel. For the past few nights Addy has been screaming her head off before she will go to sleep. It is so hard to hear her be so upset. It is draining for me and her. So tonight when she was crying so hard, I couldn't help but think about how blessed we are. We are so important in the lives of our children. The more we realize how much love they need, the more we will feel the reward of getting to be parents. We worked so hard and so long to get her here. I just feel lucky to be able to hold her in my arms (crying or not)!

AddyLynn Rose Nyberg

She is here!!! I went to the dr. last Monday and he said that it was finally time. They started me on Tuesday at 9:00 AM and she was here at 12:22 PM. She was on oxygen for a while because she swallowed some fluid, but we got to have her in our room the next day. She is so perfect! Derek and I couldn't be more in love with our sweet baby! It has been a major adjustment but we are getting used to it. We feel so blessed to have her here with us! So here are some pictures of our angel!

I just wanted to show everyone how thoughtful my husband is. The other night he attempted painting my toenails (since I am quite large). I ended up doing them, short of breath the whole time, but he attempted. Then, this morning I woke up and Derek had breakfast made and ready to eat. I just wanted to show you how cute he is!
